《丟丟銅仔》為台灣宜蘭相當具有代表性的一首民謠,而關於此曲的故事內容眾說紛紜,最常見的說法有兩種,一說「丟丟銅仔」是昔日一種丟擲銅錢的遊戲;第二種說法則稱「丟丟銅仔」為火車經過隧道時,隧道上方的水滴落下來的聲音。然而不論此曲所描述的內容真相是什麼,這首家喻戶曉的宜蘭民謠,無庸置疑是為台灣民謠的經典代表之作。
The folk song “Diu Diu Tong” originated from Ilan, Taiwan, and there are two versions of storyline. The first one is mimicking the sound of dripping water while trains pass through tunnels while the other is related to a kind of game tossing coins into the air. Whatever the story is about, the well-known song has been one of the most classic presentation of Taiwanese folklore.
