樂曲解說

台灣與日本的琉球諸島十分接近，並且是一個在地理位置上、歷史上或是情感上都是與日本緊緊
相依的美麗島國。
近年來台灣 在管樂發展上有十分大的進展，這次由台灣國際音樂節的主辦單位台北室內合奏團委託我所創作的曲子，採用魯凱族古謠「鬼湖之戀」的旋律，創作出適合比賽同時也適合在音樂會演出的曲子。樂曲由以描述台灣美麗的山與海、以及充滿活力的人民的生活的音樂開始，而接續下來的「鬼湖之戀」的旋律，以緩慢的進行展現出悠揚美麗的音樂線條。而最後，則是再次回到與第一段相同充滿活力、高昂的旋律並且以此為整首曲子作結。我在這首曲子的創作過程中，特別感受到了台灣與日本的之間深厚的友情。

Taiwan is a beautiful island nation that is located, and is relating Ryukyu Islands in Japan to nearby soon geographically and historically by Japan and great friendship. And, the music for wind instruments of Taiwan accomplishes wonderful progress in recent years.This time, the tune that was able to be used also for the contest and the concert using the melody of “Dalubaling” that was a traditional love song of Taiwan was requested from “Taipei concert band” who was the organizer of the Taiwanese international music festival, and I was created this tune. The content of the tune starts in the part where the life of beautiful mountains, the sea, and people in Taiwan where vigor overflowed was drawn. In the middle part, the melody of “Dalubaling” that is the song of love is beautifully sung by Adagio. And, the first subject with vigor appears again, it uplifts, and the tune is
shut.
I composed this tune while feeling great friendship of Taiwan and Japan.
