“It Turns Out That You Don’t Want Anything” is Taiwanese singer A-Mei’s single published in 1995. The piece is composed by Kuo-Tzi and Lyricist Yu-Kang Wu, two of whom were classmates back in high school and started their writing cooperation since college. The seamless teamwork with A-Mei’s outstanding singing technique had led the piece to a huge success. The song describes the need from two parties in a relationship does not meet eventually and cause the pain of one to another. A-Mei’s voice revealed the deep desire from the bottom of the heart, which have moved generations of listeners. The concert band version is arranged by Japanese composer Louis Kihara.
