《周杰倫金曲》收錄亞洲流行音樂天王周杰倫兩首分別於2006年、2007年推出的歌曲《菊花台》與《牛仔很忙》，首先由明快的美國西部鄉村節奏與帶有藍草音樂（Bluegrass music）風格的旋律音階完整演繹出在荒原上馳騁的寬闊感，接著氣氛急轉直下，透過簡短的過場，將音樂帶至另外一幅截然不同的情景，彷彿身處古典詩詞所構築的雅緻樓臺上，感嘆伊人在水一方的惆悵；全曲前後強烈的風格對比增添了欣賞的趣味。此版本由日本作曲家波田野直彥改編為管樂團演奏曲。

‘Selections from Jay Chou’ collects ‘Chrysanthemum Terrace’ (2006) and ‘Cowboy On the Run’ (2007), which were two songs of celebrated Taiwanese singer-songwriter Jay Chou. The piece started with a broad feeling of the Western United States portrayed by bluegrass style music. Later on, through a short bridge, the atmosphere had been led to a distinctive scenario of an oriental palace with nostalgic mourning. The strong contrast between the two parts of music increased the entertained factor of the music. The version was adapted to concert band by Japanese composer Hiko Hatano.
