《在那銀色月光下》為新疆塔塔爾族民歌,旋律源自俄羅斯民歌,1930年代由著名中國音樂學者王洛賓採集填詞,自此成為膾炙人口的佳作,被改編為各種形式演出。歌詞描繪大漠風情之中追憶往事的滄桑情景,旋律悠揚動人,歌詞清新脫俗,此版本由日本作曲家下田和輝改編為室內管樂團演奏。
Under the Silver Moonlight is a Chinese Tartars folk song. The melody originated from Russian folk song, which was gathered by famous Chinese musicologist Luobin Wang during the 1930’s. The piece with beautiful melody and music atmosphere had soon become a well-known folk song through out the world. The piece is adapted into many forms of performance. The concert band version is adapted by Japanese composer Shimoda Kazuki.
