“Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”” is a British lullaby. The lyrics come from an English poem “”The Star”” written by Jane Taylor in the early 19th century. The poem, in the form of a couplet, was first published in 1806 in Taylor and her sister Ann’s collection Rhymes for the Nursery.
