《太陽出來喜洋洋》是作曲家金鼓1942年的作品，樂曲根據民間小調進行改編填詞。歌詞以打柴人一職作為第一人稱敘述，描述出打柴生活愉悅自得的心情，顯露山中生活 此版本由日本作曲家波田野直彥改編為室內管樂團演奏，序奏從迴盪在山谷間的悠揚樂聲開始，逐漸重疊並加速，直到打擊 樂加入充滿動感而靈巧的節奏，帶入樂曲歡愉而雋永的氣氛。

“Happy Sunrise” is composed by Gu Jing in 1942. The composition notion is originated from Sichau folk tune. The lyric describes the life of a wood chopper, portraying the joy mood of working, revealing the amusing life in the mountain. It was first recorded by tenor Shao-Hsu Tsai, professor of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. The arrangement is made by Japanese composer Hiko Hatano. The slow passage of introduction brought out the mysterious atmosphere, as if in the valley. Then the instrumentation thickened gradually with the acceleration of tempo. Through the vivid rhythm of percussion, the merriness is brought into the music.
