《思慕的人》由洪一峰作曲，葉俊麟作詞，為五Ｏ年代極為轟動的不朽金曲，成為以「寶島歌王」著稱的洪一峰之經典台語代表作。其歌詞敘述戀人間對感情得失的詠嘆和無奈，編曲扣人心弦，成功演繹出令人感同身受的共鳴，備受眾多台灣音樂後輩廣泛翻唱。此管樂團版本由日本作曲家下田和輝精心編輯，前半段為較抒情的中板，由豎笛唱出經典旋律及濃厚的情感；後半段稍作變奏，使用Swing拍子，轉為輕快活潑，為經典名曲增添豐富的樣貌。

“The One I Yearn For” is a song originally composed by Yi- Feng Hung with the lyrics by Jiun- Lin Ya, which made a hit during the 1950s. This song describes the bitterness of love and the desire of seeking romance. The overwhelming composition had been copied constantly by generations of singers. This concert band version was adapted by the renowned Japanese composer Shimoda Kazuki. The first half of the transcription was written in Moderato, which decorated with a smooth melody with the clarinet section. The second half added a distinctive character by adapting the Swing style, and thus became lively and brisk.
