《我要的幸福》由歌手孫燕姿所演唱。本作品的拍號循著歌詞五字─六字的交替暗示，而以饒富趣味的五拍─六拍─五拍，作為創作素材，在節奏上呈現出不落俗套的新意，持續而躁動的低音節奏不斷前行，搭配上充滿陽光的旋律，帶來充滿希望而奮發的脈動，呈現出在世界中摸索而期待著光明的歌詞意境。此版本由香港作曲家游元慶改編為管樂團演奏曲。

‘My Desired Happiness’ was sung by celebrated Singaporean singer-songwriter Stefanie Sun. The time signature constantly varied from 5/8 and 6/8 according to the length of characters in the lyric, forming a creative idea that differed from commonly composed popular music. The continuous rhythm at baseline along with bright melody brought out a hopeful and energetic pulse, reflected the text atmosphere which as if wandering in the darkness and expecting the light. The version is adapted to concert band by Hong Kong composer Yuen-hing Yau.
