《新不了情》是1993年香港同名電影主題曲，片中男主角為失意樂手，與鄰家女孩相遇並交往，女主角激勵男主角奮發向上，最後卻以不幸病逝收場的淒美文藝片。本曲風格盪氣迴腸，具有九零年代風華的獨特魅力，編曲忠於原著男主角以薩克斯風創作的角色設定，不時穿插時而含蓄、時而激昂的裝飾奏，俱備動聽、動情、動心的吸引力，隨著當時爆紅的電影票房成為膾炙人口的經典。由香港作曲家游元慶改編為管樂團演奏曲。

The piece is originally recorded in the soundtrack of the 1993 Hong Kong same-title film. The setting of the main character is a frustrated musician, later met and fell in love with a girl living in the neighborhood and was encouraged by the optimistic nature of hers. The tragic romance ends with the girl died from deceases. The main theme with sorrowful feelings reflected the 90’s unique atmosphere. The arrangement followed the plot which the main character uses Saxophone to compose, and orchestrated with Saxophone playing through melody and relish, making it an attractive and excellent arrangement for concert band. The piece later became a pop music classic with the movie succeeded at the box office.
