《望春風》為台灣家喻戶曉的歌謠，由知名作曲家鄧雨賢譜曲、李臨秋作詞，自1933年問世至今仍廣受歡迎，可說是台灣流行樂壇中最具代表性的經典台語歌曲。原曲旋律以傳統的五聲音階譜曲，形成獨特的優美旋律，而歌詞則是描寫少女思春的情緒：「獨夜無伴守燈下，清風對面吹；十七八歲未出嫁，搪著少年家；果然標致面肉白，啥家人子弟？想欲問伊驚歹勢，心內彈琵琶。想欲郎君做翁婿，意愛在心內；等待何時君來採，青春花當開；聽見外面有人來，開門共看覓；月娘笑阮戇大呆，予風騙毋知。」

“Longing for the Spring Breeze” is a widely known song composed by Yu-Xian Deng, and written by Lee Lin-chiu. Since it was released by the Columbia Records in 1933, it is still popular to this day. The story of “Longing for the Spring Breeze” is about a lady waiting for a young man alone under a dim lamp as the breeze blows.
