《海角の傳奇》組曲收錄了五首台灣2008年上映之電影「海角七號」的配樂，「海角七號」由魏德聖執導，描述一段在南台灣展開的異國情緣以及實踐音樂夢想的故事，在該年度引起轟動，開啟台灣電影史上又一波國片熱潮。組曲包括：《國境之南》、《野玫瑰》、《無樂不作》、《愛你愛到死》、《情書》，由日本作曲家波田野直彥改編為管樂團演奏曲。

‘Highlights from CAPE’ collected five of the soundtracks from the 2008 Taiwanese movie ‘Cape No.7,’ directed by Wei Te-Sheng, describing a story of foreign romance and pursuit of music dream in southern Taiwan. The movie was a box-office hit, started another trend of domestic movies. The collection included “South of Border,” “Heidenröslein,” “As Happy as Can Be,” “Love You to Death,” “The Seventh and Last Letter.” The version was adapted to concert band by Japanese composer Hiko Hatano.
