樂曲解說

海闊天空》以追求音樂夢想為主題，由Beyond主唱黃家駒作曲、填詞，描述主唱黃家駒樂隊發展過程中受到的艱辛、挫折、動搖甚至要背棄理想的感慨。黃家駒當時在歌中注入的情懷，給了人們詮釋的空間，由日本作曲家-金山徹改編給管樂團的版本，使樂曲保有其搖滾精神的韌性，筆下的木管樂器，語法溫柔，像是遇上瓶頸的傾訴，銅管嘹亮的音色光澤有如對生命地勇氣，是一首充滿夢想共鳴，重溫舊夢的流行管樂團樂曲。

‘Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies’ set the theme of pursuing the music dream, was sung, composed by Wong Ka Kui, who was the vocalist of ‘Beyond.’ The piece described the frustration, difficulties during the development of the singer’s own band. The emotion of the song that Wong had put into had left a wide range for people to interpret. The version was adapted to concert band by Japanese composer Tohru Kanayama, which kept the spirit of Rock ’n Roll feature of the original piece. Woodwind section with gentle timbre symbolized the confiding while encountering obstacles. The sonorous brass section implied the bravery of facing one’s own destiny. The popular piece was defined by its hopeful and nostalgic atmosphere.
