靈活編制版本適用於小型管樂團、銅管五重奏、木管五重奏、薩克斯風重奏、單簧管重奏、弦樂團、混合重奏等演奏。

“Puzzle Tune” is a nursery rhyme in Yunnan. The lyric portrays a series of puzzles between children. The phrasing is regular and yet the music atmosphere is merry. The version is adapted by Japanese composer Hideaki Miura into flexible band. The instrumentation with 5 parts and percussion instruments is playful and jocular, which preserves the music quality of children playing. The music can be played by various numbers of players and instrumentation.

The flexible version is suitable for small ensembles, brass quintets, woodwind quintets, saxophone ensembles, clarinet ensembles, string ensembles, mixed ensembles, and so on.
