‘Mouse Loves Rice’ is presented by Chinese singer Yang Chengang in 2004. At the time when the song was published, the usage of Internet was just begun to be popularized among students and therefore spread rapidly. The song became a huge hit due to the simplicity of melody. The love of mouse to the rice was used as an implication to the crave for romance between lovers. The version was adapted for concert band by Hong Kong composer Yuen-hing Yau.
