The piece was the theme soundtrack of Hong Kong television series ‘Legendary Fok’¸ which is also the first Hong Kong TV series imported to mainland China. The story described the chaotic situation during the beginning of 20th century in China. The country faced critical challenges both domestically and abroad. Huo Yuanjia as a martial artist determined to contribute to the country by strengthen himself physically and mentally, to sweep the long-holding shame of being ‘Sick man of Asia,’ showing the righteousness and justice of Chinese patriotism. The version was adapted to concert band by Japanese composer Shimoda Kazuki.
