《掌聲響起》是八零年代，鳳飛飛約滿歌林唱片公司的最後一張專輯。作曲者陳志遠用了十分柔和清麗的編排，配上鳳飛飛深厚的演唱功力、哀戚又堅強的詮釋，無疑是鳳飛飛最代表性的翹楚名曲，幾乎也是她每場演唱會的必唱曲目。
‘Applause Raises Up’ is the last album published by Kolin Denon Entertainment Inc. with Fei-fei Feng during the ’80s. The producer Chih-yuan Chen arranged the song with soft and gentle atmosphere, plus the outstanding singing technique and persuasive interpretation of the singer, the song soon became the most iconic repertoire of Fei-fei Feng, which was sung almost in every concert.
