‘The Cloud of Homeland’ is a Taiwanese pop music in 1984, originally recorded in Indonesian-Chinese singer Weng-chang’s album. The renowned song portrayed a nostalgic atmosphere of travelers roving in foreign land, desired to return home, along with the call of the hometown. The version was adapted to concert band by Japanese composer Mikuni Kohei. The main theme of the 3.5-grade version is presented with the time signature 6/8. The rhythm style of percussions resembles the pulse of Irish step dancing.
