魚在水中不知水，人在福中不知福～離開了家鄉台灣，才讓我真正感受到台灣的美！
這首曲子便是懷抱這樣的懷鄉之情，以童年時期和同伴們玩耍的回憶做為主題而寫下的。
在復雜的歷史背景下，台灣文化是由許多的民族互相包容，融合而成的特有文化。因此為了展現這個特色，在這首曲子裡面也大量融入了各個民族的傳統歌謠，諸如：閩南 – 草蜢弄雞公、點仔膠；客家 – 天公落水、問卜；原住民族 – 老人飲酒歌，以及傳統念謠 – 三輪車…等等，這些令人熟悉而懷念的旋律。
並且，就如同曲名的部分，裡面還加入了過去伴隨著我們成長，各式各樣的民俗童玩。雖然這些童玩已經不再受到現代兒童們的青睞，但是我仍然希望可以藉由這首曲子，讓這些過去的功臣、先人們的智慧能夠脫胎換骨，以樂器的身分再次活躍於舞台之上。同時也希望能夠藉此達到文化傳承以及宣傳台灣的目的。
最後，希望各位能夠在欣賞以及演奏這首曲子的同時，也能尋找出我所埋藏於樂譜之中的那塊美麗的鄉土～”台灣”

Fish doesn’t know it’s in the water, as man doesn’t know his prosperity~ I really feel the beauty of this city after I leave my hometown—Taiwan! This song is written with such a nostalgic feeling, accompany with the memories of childhood. In such a complicated history background, the culture of Taiwan is integrated by different groups and become a unique Taiwanese local culture. There are various traditional songs of different ethnic in this song, included MinNan, Hakka and Indigenous. In addition, the song is added with the traditional toys element. Although these traditional toys are no longer played by the kids nowadays, we still hope that this song is able to convey the importance of Taiwanese culture.
