「萬里長城永不倒」為香港電視劇「大俠霍元甲」主題曲，也是大陸引進的第一部港台電視劇。故事敘述民國初年局勢混亂，中國內憂外患滿目瘡痍，霍元甲決心練武強身救國，洗刷列強加諸於中國人「東亞病夫」的恥辱，顯示出了中華民族的凜然正氣。由日本作曲家下田和輝改編為管樂團演奏版本，樂曲大氣磅礡，氣勢如虹的風格，展現大中華兒女民族自信心和愛國主義熱情。

The piece was the theme soundtrack of Hong Kong television series ‘Legendary Fok’¸ which is also the first Hong Kong TV series imported to mainland China. The story described the chaotic situation during the beginning of 20th century in China. The country faced critical challenges both domestically and abroad. Huo Yuanjia as a martial artist determined to contribute to the country by strengthen himself physically and mentally, to sweep the long-holding shame of being ‘Sick man of Asia,’ showing the righteousness and justice of Chinese patriotism. The version was adapted to concert band by Japanese composer Shimoda Kazuki.
