《閃亮星光》前奏描寫寧靜的夜空中出現的閃閃星光，開頭以莫札特所創作之鋼琴變奏曲「Ah! vous dirai-je, maman」為基礎，在童謠「小星星」主旋律的基礎上，開始加入各種熱鬧精采而華麗的變奏，隨著變奏的巧思，不斷在大樂隊爵士（Big Band）、放克（Funk）等風格間轉換，最後收束在絢爛奪目的尾奏。由日本作曲家波田野直彥改編為管樂團演奏曲。

‘Kira-Kira’ is a variation composition based on the famous theme of ‘Ah! Vous dirai-je, Maman.’ The introduction portrayed the twinkling stars in the serene night sky. Later, melodies after melodies joined into the stream and launched a variation shifted with Big Band, Funk. Finally, the piece ends with a coda with dazzling color. The piece was composed by Japanese composer Hiko Hatano.
