《月亮代表我的心》最初由傳奇音樂家翁清溪作曲，1977年經歌手鄧麗君演繹後造成轟動，至今仍廣泛傳唱於華人乃至於全球音樂世界，翻唱無數，歌詞以月亮象徵愛情的永恆不渝，曲調徐緩流轉，卻委婉動人，可說是中文流行歌曲最經典的標幟。由日本作曲家波田野直彥改編為管樂團演奏曲。

‘The Moon Represents My Heart’ was composed by legendary musician Weng Ching-Hsi (also known as ‘Tony’). It became an overnight sensation after sung by Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng, which still been sung and spread throughout the world. The moon in the lyric symbolized the eternity of love. The gentle melody flowed with heart-melting pace, making it one of the most iconic songs nowadays. The version is adapted to concert band by Japanese composer Hiko Hatano.
